This year is the 75th birthday of our founder (Dr. Kajira Mugambi). We are seeking to raise Ksh. 500,000 to provide eyeglasses to 1,000 schoolchildren in Maara Sub-County.

Three out of every 100 school-going children have refractive errors which require correction with glasses. Success can come in many forms and for a child to succeed in school there are many contributing factors. Good vision is a key to children’s success in school. Children’s eyes are constantly in use in the classroom and at the playing ground. When their vision is not functioning properly, their education and participation in school and play can be hampered.
